How ?

Ok…here’s the plan!

We collect the seeds ourselves.

We propagate and grow them into saplings in our back gardens, on windowsills, or whatever outdoor space we have available.

We name them, learn about them and nurture them for the first two or three years of their lives.

Once they are mature enough we release them back into the wild, where they can help create new woodland throughout Torridge.

We keep track of our trees location using “What Three Words” so we will always know where our trees are growing and can watch their progress.

We collect more seeds and keep our nursery full.

With over 30,000 dwellings in Torridge we can create a massive nursery. One tree per dwelling is around 20 hectares of woodland per year.
